इस रेलवे स्टेशन का नाम है नवापुर रेलवे स्टेशन. वैसे तो यह रेलवे स्टेशन गुजरात और महाराष्ट्र के बॉर्डर पर है. इस वजह से इसका एक हिस्सा नवापुर में है और एक हिस्सा महाराष्ट्र में है. यह सूरत-भूसवाल लाइन पर है, जो देश का एक ऐसा रेलवे स्टेशन है, जो राज्यों में बंटा हुआ है. आधा स्टेशन महाराष्ट्र के नंदुरबार जिले में आता है और आधा गुजरात के तापी जिले में पड़ता है. गुजरात और महाराष्ट्र के बंटवारे से पहले ही ये स्टेशन बन चुका था और बंटवारे के बाद भी इस स्टेशन में कोई बदलाव नहीं हुआ और नतीजा ये हुआ कि अब ये दोनों राज्यों में आता है.
