अपने कपड़ों और बोल्ड अंदाज के अलावा अपने बयानों से भी उर्फी जावेद तहलका मचा देती हैं. कुछ दिन पहले शादी को लेकर उर्फी ने अपने बयान से खलबली मचाई थी तो वहीं अब उन्होंने एक और बयान से तहलका मचा दिया है।

उर्फी जावेद ने इंस्टाग्राम पर एक स्टोरी शेयर की है. इस स्टोरी में उर्फी ने कहा कि वो हर जाति और धर्म की हैं. उर्फी ने इंस्टा स्टोरी कैप्शन में लिखा- ‘अगर आप हिंदू होकर भी हिंदू से नफरत करते हो तो मैं हिंदू हूं. अगर आप मुस्लिम होकर मुस्लिम से नफरत करते हो तो मैं मुस्लिम हूं. अगर आप किसी व्यक्ति को नीची जाति का समझते हो तो मैं जन्म से ही दलित हूं.’

इससे पहले उर्फी ने ट्रोलिंग को लेकर अपनी बात कही. उर्फी ने कहा था कि वे समुदाय की सभी महिलाओं को कंट्रोल करना चाहते हैं और यही वजह है कि मैं इस्लाम को नहीं मानती हूं. मुझे ट्रोल करने की सबसे बड़ी वजह यही है कि मैं उस तरह का व्यवहार नहीं करती, जैसा वे लोग धर्म के हिसाब से मुझसे उम्मीद करते हैं’.
सबसे बड़ा धमाका तब किया जब उन्होंने कहा कि मुस्लिम लड़के से कभी नहीं करूंगी शादी।
जब उर्फी से पूछा गया था कि क्या वह कभी अपने समुदाय से बाहर किसी व्यक्ति से शादी करेंगी? उर्फी ने कहा, ‘मैं कभी मुस्लिम लड़के से शादी नहीं करूंगी. मैं इस्लाम में विश्वास नहीं करती हूं और मैं किसी भी धर्म को फॉलो नहीं करती हूं, इसलिए मुझे परवाह नहीं है कि मैं किससे प्यार करती हूं. हम जिससे चाहेंगे उससे शादी कर लेंगे।
उर्फी जावेद ने आगे कहा कि’मैं ऐसी इंसान हूं जिससे आप नफरत कर सकते हैं. वो आप ही है जो खुद को बदल सकते हैं अपने दिमाग की शांति के लिए. मैं जो भी हूं वो हूं और जैसी हूं वैसी ही रहूंगी. आप शांति के साथ रहिए या फिर अपनी ही नफरत में घुटते रहिए. मैं यही रहूंगी.’
