कोतवाली क्षेत्र के शेरपुर पारा बाजार में झोलाछाप डॉ•जगदीश नाई की लापरवाही से एक वृद्धा महिला शोभावती पत्नी हृदय राम निवासी उसरी की जान चली गई। वृद्ध महिला को सांस की प्रॉब्लम थी और उपचार कराने के लिए आई वृद्धा की गलत इंजेक्शन लगाने के कारण उसकी हालत बिगड़ती गई और हालत में सुधार न होते देख परिजन सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र बीकापुर ले आए तो वहां पर मौजूद डाक्टरों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया।*
इस घटना से आक्रोशित हुए परिजनों ने अस्पताल में लाश रख करके हंगामा शुरू कर दिया।*

कोतवाली क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत डॉ जगदीश शेरपुर पारा बाजार में एक गुमटी रखकर छोटा सा क्लीनिक चलाता है।*
यहां शनिवार की सुबह उसरी निवासी लगभग 60 वर्षीय शोभावती पत्नी हृदय राम को उसके परिजन उपचार कराने के लिए यहां लेकर आए थे। पिछले काफी समय से वृद्धा का उपचार चल रहा था। शनिवार को जब परिजन क्लीनिक पर लेकर पहुंचे तो वृद्धा को सांस लेने में दिक्कत थी।*
परिजनों ने चिकित्सक से सांस प्रॉब्लम की बात बताई। इसके बाद चिकित्सक ने वृद्धा को इंजेक्शन लगा दिया और जैसे ही इंजेक्शन लगाने से हालत गंभीर होने की स्थिति में परिजनों ने सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र ले गए जहां उनकी मौत हो गई । कुछ समय बाद वृद्धा ने दम तोड़ दिया। जिससे आक्रोशित हुए परिजनों ने क्लीनिक पर हंगामा करना शुरू कर दिया।परिजनों का आरोप था कि चिकित्सक ने गलत इंजेक्शन वृद्धा को लगा दिया। जिससे उसकी मौत हो गई। शेरपुर पारा बाजार में अपनी पहचान बना चुके झोलाछाप डॉक्टर के गलत इलाज से अकाल मौत के गाल समाए वृद्धा की मौत का यह मामला कोई पहला नहीं है।
ऐसी दर्जनों घटनाएं क्षेत्र में हो चुकी हैं। ऐसा तब हो रहा जब कई मरीजों ने सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र पर पहुंच कर आखिरी सांस यह कहते हुए ली कि उनकी यह हालत गलत दवा के प्रयोग के कारण हुई है। बावजूद इसके स्वास्थ्य महकमा हाथ पर हाथ धरे बैठा है।
