बाबरी मस्जिद के पक्षकार इकबाल अंसारी ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट के निर्णय में मस्जिद के लिए मिली 5 एकड़ भूमि को जल्द उपलब्ध कराने की मांग केंद्र सरकार से की है। इकबाल अंसारी ने कहा कि अयोध्या में 5 एकड़ भूमि मस्जिद की चिह्नित कर दी जाए।
हिंदुस्तान से एक विवाद खत्म हुआ तो मुस्लिमों का भी ख्याल रखा जाए। तमाम लोग अब पूछ रहे कि मस्जिद की जमीन कहां है ,सरकार मंदिर और मस्जिद में सहयोग करे। कहा कि अब तक किसी सरकारी अधिकारी द्वारा जमीन को लेकर उनसे कोई संपर्क नहीं किया गया है।
उन्होंने प्रस्ताव रखा कि जो भूमि मिले उसमें मस्जिद के साथ स्कूल और महिला अस्पताल भी बने। भव्य मस्जिद की जरूरत नहीं, आबादी के अनुसार मस्जिद बने। कहा कि उनके घर के पास भी एक जमीन खाली है उसे ही दे दी जाए। खाली जमीन पर स्कूल और अस्पताल बने पास में दरगाह है उसे विकसित कर दिया जाए।
