हम बात कर रहे है सुल्तानपुर जिला अस्पताल स्थित ब्लड बैंक का। जहाँ न्यू ईयर पर अंकुरण फाउंडेशन के तहत ब्लड बैंक का आयोजन किया गया। इसका शुभारंभ मुख्य चिकित्सा अधिकारी डॉ सी बी एन त्रिपाठी ने किया। इस दौरान डॉ ए के सिंह समेत तमाम लोग शामिल हुये। हाल ये रहा कि सुबह से चल रहे इस रक्तदान शिविर में अब तक 100 लोगों ने रक्तदान का दूसरों का जीवन बचाने का संकल्प लिया। रक्तदान कर रहे लोगों की माने तो पिछले 8 वर्षों से परंपरा चली आ रही है। हर वर्ष करीब 4 बार रक्तदान शिविर का आयोजन किया जाता है। पिछले साल इस संस्था के सदस्यों ने एक हजार यूनिट से ज्यादा का रक्तदान किया।।इतना ही नही केवल एक दिन में ही 600 यूनिट रक्तदान कर इन्होंने पूरे प्रदेश में रिकॉर्ड भी कायम किया था। इस रक्तदान।शिविर में समाजसेवी,अधिवक्ता पत्रकार,डॉक्टर समेत करीब 100 लोगों ने रक्तदान कर नए वर्ष की शुरुवात की है।
